>_ Abstract
This technical report documents the COMSOL Multiphysics simulation framework developed for modeling light propagation in multilayer arterial tissue structures. The model incorporates wavelength-dependent optical properties (absorption, scattering, anisotropy) for intimal, medial, and adventitial layers, and validates against Monte Carlo photon transport simulations and experimental reflectance measurements.
